Power Quality (PQ) has been recognized as one of the main issues in electricity supply worldwide after invention nonlinear load. In 2017, PQ problem leads to significant economic losses Pan European region. Therefore, Active Filter developed during past two decades improve harmonic compensation, reactive power, and voltage balance. this research, evaluation Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) method is done under load condition. The objective research modify extraction algorithm based on SRF concepts for application single-phase shunt active power filter (SAPF) harmonics mitigation evaluate performance it. SAPF that used evaluated verified using MATLAB/Simulink. Besides that, proposed will be benchmarked with several existing techniques. results are MATLAB/Simulink aid Powergui SimPower System block. a built Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis tool could perform analysis. With tool, Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value can viewed This does achieve THD system keeps limit set by IEEE standard 519.
